How the repair works
Prep the area
We clean and prepare the chip so dirt and moisture are out of the way and the repair can bond cleanly.
Open the impact for resin flow
We carefully open the existing damage so optical resin can flow all the way into the chip. This is a normal part of a proper repair—it helps the resin fill completely for a clearer, stronger finish.
Evacuate air & inject resin
Air is evacuated from the damage, then optical resin is injected so it fills the chip completely—restoring structure and improving clarity, often up to about 90%.
Cure with UV light
We harden and seal the repair with UV light so it sets quickly and holds up on the road.
Polish for the best finish
A final polish blends the repair into the glass for the cleanest look we can get from that chip.
